| this weekend has been great. it was almost a perfect week...except it was too good to be true. stupid football game. i hate losing. we fought hard though. basketball (both men's and women's) turned out to be great. they havent lost a step. i love it. scary moment when acie fell hard on the floor though. but rest assured...he'll be back soon. now if we could just get joe to get back on the court soon as well. i got my fightin' texas aggie ring thursday! it was an awesome day capped off by mozart, hanging out with mr. hoffman, and o'bannons with wonderful friends. they have meant more to me than a lot of things lately. actually...they mean everything to me. nothing else really matters in my life right now. i just dont care anymore. BUT i did dunk my ring in 20 seconds. whoop! brynn did too! double whoop!        
the thing that sucks about my ring is that i have to part with it for 3-6 weeks. the ring that i ordered wasnt big enough. which is weird cause i would think the lady who helped me order it would've noticed. so now i have to send it back in to get resized. its ok though...i know that when i get it back, its going to feel like heaven on my finger. yesterday started a new change in my life. starting to eat better, hanging out with jamie more (cause we never get to), try working out again, just better myself. ive been pretty content with myself lately...but i want to be happy with it. yesterday was definitely a blah day though. woke up and just had one of those whatever days. i havent had that in a long time. i wonder what brought it on. | | |
| what a weekend.
friday - went to san marcos with jessi, spencer, and ronni. spent all
day shopping. i got a few things...and it was great. i tried to stick
strictly to interview clothes (just in case). so a couple of nice ties
seem fitting. especially since it was buy one, get one free at banana
republic. thats money in the bank!
saturday - early morning. had to wake up at 630 so i could meet dannie
from women's chorus before they left for festival. she is amazing. she
let me borrow her truck so we could go to dublin. which leads me into
the next part of my day. me, will, mariah, jessi, and spencer went to
dublin to pick up all the dublin dr. peppers that were ordered. 100
cases....thats a lot. on the way back was baylor ass kicking time. it
was a good game. they put up a good fight...but not good enough. its
pitiful that the stadium (which looks like a high school one) was made
up of about 50% aggies. and it was also the largest crowd there...ever
= 51, 385. oohhh.....pwah! thanks to us, though. ended the night with
the unloading of dp's at 1:30 in the morning.
sunday - slept in cause i desperately needed to catch up on that. woke
up and unloaded the rest of the dp's that were in will's car.
rehearsal...then our concert. overall, i think we did well. i would say
average...maybe slightly above. the old men behind me were really
annoying. its like they dont know how to act professionally. they're 3x
my age and they have no sense of decorum; nonetheless, it is still my
favorite concert all year. i love the calibur of the pieces.
this coming weekend (the best weekend ever)
thursday - Aggie Ring Day!!! it will be here soon enough!!
also mozart requiem that night. should be great
friday - men's and women's bball exhibition games. oh...basketball season is upon us!

ring dunk at 12:07am!!!! hopefully all will be ok afterwards.
saturday - oklahoma game is at 7pm. so i thought i would be able to do whatever earlier that day. but ESPN college gameday is going to be here from 9am and on! omg!!!!!! time to show everyone what AGGIELAND and SPIRIT is all about!!
its going to be a CRAZY week!!

| i get my fightin' texas aggie ring in 07 days!!! WHOOP!!
san marcos tmrw with jessi, ronni, and spencer. then off to dublin
saturday morning to pick up dr. peppers...and then to waco for the
baylor game. im nervous about it. 
our concert is sunday at 4:00pm in Rudder Auditorium. if you're
in college station that day...come listen. its going to be great!
...and the best thing that happened ALL day.....

nothing has made me happier. it was great to hear her voice again after
playing phone tag for awhile. what are the odds that i would pick up
the office phone when she called? (even though i do it all the time)
but i wasnt working at the time. the moment she said her name...it was
crazy excitement from then on. she got to talk to a lot of other people
and everyone was so happy. i got to have one-on-one time with her after
work, and it was as if nothing changed. that makes me happy. i wish she
could be here for my ring day...but alas, she cannot. she will see my ring
soon enough....soon enough. SOMEONE GIVE ME A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS SO
I CAN GO TO DISNEYWORLD!

| everything seems right now 
only one more concession for me to work! texas tech...its on!!
so...my a/c has been out since friday and the maintenence guy cant fix
it til monday. needless to say...its been burning up in the apartment.
he gave jamie and i the keys to apt. 409 which is fully furnished and
thats nice. its one of the apartments that meadows point uses as a
"hotel room" type of thing. after clay's ring dunking on friday, i
stepped into my apt and couldnt take it. off to apt 409! it felt
great...but i still ended sleeping on the couch cause i was watching
tv. btw....way to kick ass on the ring dunk, clay. i have a goal
to beat now. and jessi...your forcing me to drink beer after beer
has made me used to it by now. thank you.

| we had rehearsal last night and it was great to see everyone again. im very proud of miss caitlin kaluza for getting everyone's dresses and tuxes so quickly 
afterwards a whole bunch of us went to bennigans for dinner. it was
fun...but it took some time. then we went to watch little miss
sunshine. GREAT MOVIE. go watch it.
then we sang at freshman convocation today. i think it went extremely
well. great way to put ourselves infront of 7500 freshman. i hope THEY
ALL audition in the next 3 days. ha! i would love to see mr. wade's
face on that one. hung out with jessica afterwards. she's great.
truly...one of my best friends 
school tmrw....lets hope all goes well!
listening to "Lemonade" by Passion. a great slow ballad...real mellow
and acoustic-y??? haha..anyways, he's this independent filipino
singer/writer from san francisco. havent listened to this song in a
long time until my friend RG and his brother made a music video to it. i forgot how much i loved this song! watch the video here.
